Enjoy a beautiful scenic bike ride along the Root River as some things worth experiencing with others. We will start in beautiful Lanesboro, MN, take breaks as needed along the 15 mile ride to Peterson, MN where we will enjoy lunch at Burdey’s Café, a locally owned restaurant where they believe it’s not the end, only the beginning.

The Root River State Trail meanders through scenic Southeastern Minnesota amid 300-foot bluffs and along the peaceful Root River. The trail system boasts over 60 miles of paved surface. (No worries, we are only doing 15!) Thousands of cyclists, inline skaters, hikers and cross-country skiers enjoy this Cadillac of Trails year round. This is your excuse to experience the beauty of MN through a leisure bike ride with others.

If 15 miles seems long, start your training now – like Eric and I, maybe it’s just the inspiration you need to get moving! For those of you ready to go, we will see you on the trail!!
